Ficus Ginseng trees are commonly called “Pot-bellied Ficus” and are native to Asia and Australia.  Ficus ‘Ginseng’ is a cultivar used extensively in bonsai for it bulbous, thick roots which make them a popular indoor bonsai tree.

The perfect bonsai tree for someone new to bonsai tree care.  Root carving on this tree began October 2022.
